2*Coup de Coeur

Hachette

"The Dubois family has once again reaped a shower of stars this year, including no fewer than two Favorites.' The first goes to this pure Grenache made from century-old vines harvested by hand, which offers an intense nose of red fruits, forest floor, and vanilla. But it was the palate that particularly impressed the jury: a palate that is at once complex, velvety, powerful, and indulgent, unfolding intense flavors of spicy red fruit, lingering in a long, chocolatey finish and supported by velvety tannins of remarkable harmony . About wine:

Once again this year, the Dubois family has reaped a shower of stars and no fewer than two Favorites." The first goes to this pure Grenache made from century-old vines harvested by hand, which offers an intense nose of red fruits, forest floor, and vanilla. But it was the palate that particularly impressed the jury: a palate that is at once complex, velvety, powerful, and indulgent, displaying intense flavors of spicy red fruit, lingering in a long, chocolatey finish and supported by velvety tannins of remarkable harmony. A Lirac with a capital L.

About the estate:

Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate, created in 1994 from the merger of three small farms, has demonstrated consistent quality. Succeeding his parents Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure, now solely in charge of the estate, have created a new cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vines to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.

We'll have to wait... but I'm a little disappointed—I don't know if there will be enough time...
