About the wine:

Always at the top, this half-grenache, half-syrah cuvée never ceases to delight lovers of round, perfumed Côtes-du-Rhône, aged without the use of wood. Subtly fruity, with notes of juicy cherry and redcurrant jelly mingled with a hint of cocoa butter, it unfurls a lush, comfortable body, supported by perfectly blended tannins, carried to the finish by an irresistible freshness saturated with fruit (burlat). A voluptuous wine, with a body quite unique for the vintage.

About the domain :

Established at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by the monks in the Middle Ages, this estate, created in 1994 from the merger of three small holdings, has shown great consistency in quality. Succeeding his parents Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure, now alone at the head of the estate, have created a new winery and converted their 20 ha of vines to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.
