“A model of equilibrium”

This Grenache/Syrah blend showcases the full power of Lirac, offering a complex nose that blends black fruits, blackberry jam, garrigue, and licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, dense, and velvety, with plenty of freshness and tannins that are pronounced yet fine and supple. The finish is marked by aromas of wild thyme and zan.

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Wine noted (guide 2023) 2* Stars (Vintage 2020) (Remarkable wine)

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate—founded in 1994 through the merger of three small vineyards—has consistently delivered high-quality wines. Taking over from their parents Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure, now the sole owners of the estate, have built a new cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vineyards to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.
