"Now certified organic, Lirac la Fermade 2022 is a strong vintage for this vat-aged blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Nuances of raspberry, strawberry and herbs show great freshness on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is silky, supple and easy, then firms a little on the finish, giving it the backbone to drink well for several more years." Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
This estate, which is highly consistent in terms of quality, notably for its lirac, in all 3 colors, and tavel wines, was founded in 1950 by Armand Maby. In 2005, his grandson Richard took over the reins of the 53-hectare vineyard, mostly located on the rolled pebbles of the Vallongue plateau; the vines are cultivated "au naturel", and will be converted to organic farming in 2019. Since 2011, Philippe Cambie, an eminent Rhône nologist, has been advising the estate.

A juicy, rich wine, loaded with aromas of baked blackberry and blueberry, framed by bay leaves and black pepper. The concentrated, plum-filled palate is complemented by a finish of minerality and dried herbs.
