Domaine de la Citadelle
Domaine de la Citadelle was created in 1990 by Yves Rousset-Rouard from an 8-hectare farm at the foot of the village of Ménerbes. After 20 years, thanks to hard work, patience and a very selective choice of plots, and with the help of his son Alexis, who joined him in 1995, he has succeeded in creating one of the appellation's benchmark estates.

Today, the Domaine de la Citadelle vineyard totals 39 hectares of vines, planted on predominantly clay-limestone soils with veins of stony scree. Domaine de la Citadelle cultivates its vines using sustainable methods, with no chemical weedkillers or fertilizers, and is constantly striving for quality, with extensive green harvesting and predominantly manual harvesting. In terms of vinification, each stage is carried out with the greatest respect for the grapes, in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, with gentle pressing. Domaine de la Citadelle wines regularly win awards from the trade press, and are characterized by their finesse and freshness.
