Domaine Dambrun
A former well-known journalist, Patrick Chêne and his wife Laurence, caught up in their Favorite with wine, settled in the southern Rhône Valley, in the Vaucluse. They created the Dambrun estate by taking over an 18th century Mas, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and situated at the foot of the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux. The vineyards of Dambrun estate This 13-hectare vineyard extends over three communes: Caromb, Modène and Bédoin.
It's a safe bet that, in the years to come, the estate will acquire all its letters of nobility and become one of the spearheads of this Ventoux appellation that never ceases to amaze us.
Supported and guided by Jérome Bressy, they laid the foundations of a project that had matured over more than twenty years, and today they are flying solo! Biodynamic viticulture and respect for the environment were the obvious choices. No chemicals are used, manual labor is favored, and fermentation takes place naturally. The result is wines with strong personalities, surprising and out of the ordinary, that are already off the beaten track.
