Dambrun Estate
Patrick Chêne, a renowned former journalist, and his wife Laurence, Favorite wine, settled in the southern Rhône Valley, in the Vaucluse region. They founded the Dambrun Estate by purchasing an 18th-century farmhouse, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and situated at the foot of the southern slope of Mont Ventoux. The vineyards of the Dambrun Estate spans three municipalities: Caromb, Modène, and Bédoin, and comprises a 13-hectare vineyard.

With the support and guidance of Jérome Bressy, they laid the groundwork for a project that had been in the making for over twenty years, and today they’re flying solo! The choice to embrace biodynamics and respect for the environment was a natural one for them. No chemicals are used; manual labor is prioritized, and fermentation occurs naturally. These are wines with strong personalities—surprising, extraordinary, and already breaking new ground.

It’s a safe bet that, in the coming years, the estate will earn its stripes and become one of the leading lights of the Ventoux appellation, which never ceases to amaze us.
