"A great summer rosé!"

A Ventoux rosé made from equal parts Cinsault and Caladoc grapes, with a salmon pink color and golden highlights. Its floral bouquet opens with hints of red berries accompanied by a touch of spice and some toasted notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied, fresh, and delicious, with aromas of stewed red berries and sweet spices that enhance the whole.

Winery rated 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Ventoux is welcoming a new chapter in the professional lives of Laurence and Patrick Chêne. This passion project, which dates back some twenty years, is based in an 18th-century farmhouse at the foot of this famous mountain in Vaucluse. With deep-rooted convictions and unwavering faith, this couple, passionate about rural life and Provence, has brought together the region's native grape varieties, which had been too quickly abandoned. Century-old vines, a winery that respects tradition without forgetting innovation, and the expert eye of Jérôme Bressy: the answer is in the glass, relevant and clear-sighted for four vintages. In addition to the usual varieties, a little Cinsault and the fine Counoise complete a successful blend, aged in cement and wood.
