Wine rated (2026 guide) 90/100 (2023 vintage)
Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
Having returned to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves by crafting vintage-style fortified Banyuls (vintage wines, meant to be enjoyed young), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity previously unseen. Jean-Emmanuel, who joined the family business in 2010, embodies its renewal. He reduced the vineyard’s size to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot structure (50 parcels). Sun exposure and altitudes vary widely. He took on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which is shaped by the rhythms of the sea breezes. Dry whites and reds are now among the estate’s signature wines, offering bold and intense expressions. We commend the exceptional consistency of the lineup across all three wine types, as well as in the VDN category; it therefore logically earns its second star.
