Rated estate (2023 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Having returned to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves by crafting vintage-style fortified Banyuls (vintage wines, meant to be enjoyed young), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity previously unseen. Jean-Emmanuel, who joined the family in 2010, embodies its renewal. He reduced the vineyard’s size to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot system (50 plots). Sun exposure and altitudes vary. He took on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape that lives to the rhythm of the sea breezes. The dry whites and reds are now among the standout wines, with bold and intense expressions. We applaud the exceptional consistency of the range, across all three colors as well as in the VDN, so it logically regains its second star.
