"With its distinctly Mediterranean blend, this Collioure has a stronger connection to the sea."

Its freshness evokes sea spray, and it pairs perfectly with fish, thanks to its notes of garrigue and black fruits. Its texture also makes it a great accompaniment to roasted meats, and its silky tannins allow it to age for about ten years. A real treat!

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Having returned to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves by producing vintage-style fortified Banyuls (vintage wines, ready to drink young), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity previously unknown. Jean-Emmanuel, who joined the family business in 2010, embodies its renewal. He reduced the vineyard’s size to 34 hectares across this highly fragmented plot structure (50 parcels). Sun exposure and altitudes vary widely. He took on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which is shaped by the rhythms of the sea breezes. Dry whites and reds are now among the estate’s signature wines, offering bold and intense expressions. We commend the exceptional consistency of the lineup across all three wine types, as well as in the VDN category; it therefore logically regains its second star.
