Domaine de la Rectorie - Collioure L'Argile 2025
92/100
Bettane & Desseauve
"A white fragrance crafted from white flowers and oceanic notes!"
Its lovely, intense, and crystal-clear floral nose gives way to a supple and fresh palate at first, becoming rounder and more vinous as it develops, and finishing with a light touch. A wonderful example!

Wine rated (2026 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
On the palate, the clay layers hinted at on the label are clearly evident; they lend body and depth to this gourmet white wine, which is better suited to white meats than to fish. It has a lovely, smoky finish that’s perfectly mineral. (Magnum: May 2026)

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
Having returned to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves by producing vintage-style fortified Banyuls (vintage wines, ready to drink young), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity previously unknown. Jean-Emmanuel, who joined the family business in 2010, embodies its renewal. He reduced the vineyard’s size to 34 hectares across this highly fragmented plot structure (50 parcels). Sun exposure and altitudes vary widely. He took on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which is shaped by the rhythms of the sea breezes. Dry whites and reds are now among the estate’s signature wines, offering bold and intense expressions. We commend the exceptional consistency of the lineup across all three wine types, as well as in the VDN category; it therefore logically regains its second star.
