"The elegance of white Grenache aged in barrels"

"The iconic Roussillon duo of Grenache and Macabeu grapes are used to make this wine, which is produced from old vines and enhanced by careful barrel aging. With its beautiful luminous gold color, it immediately seduces with its floral and slightly amyl nose. The palate is full-bodied and straightforward, combining elegance and length. We applaud its remarkable smoothness, the sweetness of its aromas, and its perfectly controlled power. Delicious, and will remain so for several more years. (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About wine:

The iconic Roussillon duo of Grenache and Macabeu grapes are used to make this wine, which is produced from old vines and enhanced by careful barrel aging. With its beautiful bright gold color, it immediately seduces with its floral and slightly amylic nose. The palate is full-bodied and straightforward, combining elegance and length. We applaud its remarkable smoothness, the sweetness of its aromas, and its perfectly controlled power. Delicious, and will remain so for several years to come.

About the estate:

Véronique Boudau and her brother Pierre have been running the family estate since 1993. They decided to breathe new life into the property, which covers some 50 hectares of excellent terroir at the entrance to the Agly Valley. Their gamble paid off: the entire production is bottled and sold, mainly through a network of restaurants and wine merchants. A safe bet, which has committed to converting its vineyard to organic farming. Véronique's daughter has just joined the adventure.
