“The schist-rich marl soils of the Fenouillèdes region are well-suited to Grenache Noir. This wine boasts a ruby color with black highlights. After an initial nose of fresh red berries (cherry), aeration reveals notes of black fruit accented by a hint of pepper. The red fruit returns on the palate, which is well-balanced, silky, structured, and long-lasting. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)

About the wine:
The schist-rich marl soils of the Fenouillèdes region are well-suited to Grenache Noir. This wine boasts a ruby hue with black undertones. After an initial nose of fresh red berries (cherry), aeration reveals notes of black fruit accented by a hint of pepper. The red fruit flavors return in a well-balanced, silky, structured, and long-finishing palate.
About the estate:
The Grier family, owners of a South African vineyard renowned for its sparkling wines, established this 25-hectare estate in a single block in the Fenouillèdes region in 2006. They entrusted its management to Raphël Graugnard, who brings his extensive experience to crafting wines that embody the successful union of the Old and New Worlds.
