“This 4-hectare estate is situated on the beautiful hillsides of the village of Arbin, a terroir particularly suited to the Mondeuse grape. Expertly managed by two brothers, Joseph (in the vineyard) and Louis (in the cellar), the family-owned property features vines with an average age of 25 years. The soil is carefully tilled, winemaking is done on a plot-by-plot basis, fermentation follows traditional methods, and aging in tanks lasts 8 to 12 months. The Mondeuse wines possess incredible character and stand out for their elegance and aromatic purity, often with a fresh, anise-like note. The very small production volumes make this estate a hidden gem, yet it produces wines of consistent quality with great aging potential.”
