About the estate:

Following his father’s death in 2011, Fabien began acquiring the family’s vineyards with his partner Chloé. The estate now spans 25 hectares, primarily in Arbin, with half planted to red grapes and half to white. A new winemaking facility was built in 2017. The reds are currently undergoing organic certification, and the whites will follow. The estate is experimenting with aging wines in amphorae and concrete eggs. The lineup is representative of Savoie wines, is widely distributed, and is affordably priced. The estate is gaining momentum.

About the estate:

Fabien Trosset took over the family estate in 2011 following his father’s death: at the time, it comprised 7 hectares in Arbin—one of the crus dedicated to Mondeuse—and the entire harvest was sold to a cooperative. Today, the winemaker produces his wine on the estate and has expanded the planted area to 24 hectares, a large portion of which is reserved for Mondeuse.

About the estate:

In 2011, Fabien Trosset and his partner Chloé took over the estate of Jean-Louis Trosset, a first cousin of Louis and Joseph Trosset. In 2013, they expanded the operation by acquiring part of the vineyards from the Joseph Trosset estate. Most of the vineyard is planted on the Arbin terroir, showcasing the Mondeuse grape, which yields wines ranging from light, fruit-forward styles to ambitiously aged vintages with aging potential. Perfectly crafted, the wines—including the whites—have undeniably gained in definition.

Fresh, still showcasing the primary aromas of the Mondeuse grape, with perfect ripeness and purity. It’s a precise wine, like a coulis, with noticeable tannins that will soon become velvety. Remarkable for this young winemaker, who has been in business since 2011.
