“David and Olivier Vullien have dedicated this cuvée to their mother because it is her favorite red wine. Aged in barrels for twelve months, this elegant Pinot, with aromas of cherry clafoutis complemented by very subtle oak notes, reveals a fruity, supple, and refined palate with well-integrated tannins. It’s full of charm and a standout choice.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

About the wine:

David and Olivier Vullien have dedicated this vintage to their mother, as it is her favorite red wine. Aged in barrels for twelve months, this elegant Pinot, with aromas of cherry clafoutis complemented by very subtle oak notes, reveals a fruity, supple, and refined palate with well-integrated tannins. It’s a charming wine and a standout choice.

About the estate:

Olivier and David Vullien, Jean’s sons, are, like many of their colleagues in Fréterive, both winemakers and nursery growers. They cultivate 35 hectares spread across the slopes of the Combe de Savoie, from Fréterive to Montmélian.

A superb interpretation of Pinot Noir. Fruity and lively. Everyone loved it. P.S.: Just as good on a second tasting
