“David and Olivier Vullien dedicated this cuvée to their mother because it’s her favorite red wine. Aged in barrels for twelve months, this elegant Pinot, with aromas of cherries in clafoutis complemented by very subtle oak, reveals a fruity, supple, and refined palate with well-integrated tannins. It’s full of charm and a true favorite. ” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

About the estate:
Olivier and David Vullien, Jean’s sons, are—like many of their colleagues in Fréterive—both winemakers and nursery growers. They cultivate 35 hectares spread across the slopes of the Combe de Savoie, from Fréterive to Montmélian.
