"Initially very restrained on the nose, but with an immediate richness of fruit and flavor, this easy-drinking wine is a real pleasure to drink and perfect for all wine bars and bistros. Beautiful texture on the palate, peppery character, juicy, and a savory finish, true to itself. A great success. " (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve). With its purple color, this Mondeuse promotes finesse while giving pride of place to deliciousness. A wine for aging, for enthusiasts to discover.

Bettane & Desseauve
Wine rated 89/100
Rated estate (2023 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About wine:
Initially very restrained on the nose, but with an immediate richness of fruit and flavor, this easy-drinking wine is thoroughly enjoyable and perfect for wine bars and bistros. Beautiful texture on the palate, peppery character, juicy, and a savory finish, true to itself. A great success.
About the estate:
The Magnin couple are among the iconic figures of the Savoyard wine region. These two passionate winegrowers, who have been working organically since 2012, decided to reduce the estate to three hectares starting with the 2018 harvest. The range is certainly small, but both the white and red wines are truly beautiful.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 91/100
Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About wine:
We also recommend waiting for the iconic Mondeuse Fille d'Arbin 2018, which is vigorous, tight, and structured, and has closed up since its dazzling youth.
About the estate:
This artisanal estate has played a key role in the contemporary history of Savoyard winegrowing. Although the area under cultivation has decreased, meticulous work in both the vineyard and the cellar has enabled Louis Magnin to achieve excellence in both red and white wines. A perfectionist, he demonstrates a consistency across his different vintages that few producers in this region can match. Less opulent than in the past, the whites favor mineral intensity. Among the flamboyant Mondeuses, which are intended for aging, we continue to prefer (often, but not this year!) the vintages aged in vats to those aged in barrels.
