Domaine Louis Magnin

Domaine Louis Magnin is a small, family-run estate spanning 8 hectares, located in Arbin, in the Combe de Savoie Valley, near the town of Montmélian. Nestled against the Bauges Mountains, the Arbin-Montmélian hillside—with its naturally well-drained clay-limestone scree soil and southeast exposure—helps the grapes reach full ripeness, resulting in a dense texture and complex aromas. Since the 2018 vintage, the couple has scaled back their operations and now focuses on 3 hectares.

At Domaine Louis Magnin, the two main regional grape varieties are cultivated: Mondeuse and Roussette. Completely renovated in 2006, the Domaine Louis Magnin winery is practical and functional, allowing the winemakers to work with the grape varieties under optimal conditions and produce a magnificent Vin de Savoie.
