About the estate:
Guillaume and Paul, Francis’s sons, in partnership with oenologist Yann Lecoindre, manage the 30 hectares in Saint Julien d’Eymet under the Albert de Conti label (formerly Tour des Gendres’ flagship cuvée). A new winery for vinification and aging is set to be built in Saint Julien, offering an opportunity to revitalize the village’s wine industry. The trio, led by the dynamic Guillaume, is determined to innovate, both in terms of labels and the style of the wines, by planting Savoyard grape varieties and others, just like their cousins. Stay tuned.

About the wine:
The Conti-ne Périgourdine 2022 offers a distinctive, fragrant bouquet of musk, flowers, honey, acacia, and ripe orchard fruits, followed by a medium-bodied palate that is round and succulent, enveloping and almost syrupy, with an elegant bitterness and a long, indulgent finish. This 100% Muscadelle was aged for 12 months in large oak casks after being fermented in 30-hectoliter casks.

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)
About the estate:
Rancis de Conti was a cooperative member and supplied his wines before entering into a lease agreement with his brother Luc de Conti at Château La Tour des Gendres. In 2021, Guillaume, his son, and his brother Paul, along with Yann Lecoindre, the cellar master at La Tour des Gendres, took over this 30-hectare leasehold to produce their own wines under the Albert de Conti label. The Conti-ne Périgourdine, Cuvée des Conti, La Vigne d'Albert, Chez Paul, and the natural sparkling wine produced on the estate’s plots have been taken over by the new entity, which is therefore included in our guide on the same level as the former estate.

About the wine:
This wine, brimming with fragrant Muscadelle, is ripe and spicy. It has a rich, tangy character, full of white fruit flavors. Hints of kiwi and apricot add a tropical touch. Best enjoyed starting in 2025.
