“The very essence of Sémillon, enhanced by the liveliness of Sauvignon and the distinctive character of Muscadelle.”

A vibrant, rich Bergerac with aromas of yellow and white fruits and soft floral notes. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious roundness, perfectly balanced and marked by an invigorating freshness.

Rated 3*Stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Guillaume and Paul, Francis’s sons, in partnership with oenologist Yann Lecoindre, manage the 30 hectares in Saint Julien d’Eymet under the Albert de Conti label (formerly Tour des Gendres’ flagship cuvée). A new winery for vinification and aging is set to be built in Saint Julien—an opportunity to breathe new life into the village’s wine industry. The trio, led by the dynamic Guillaume, is determined to innovate—both in terms of labels and the style of their wines—by planting Savoyard grape varieties and others, just like their cousins. Stay tuned.

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

Rancis de Conti was a cooperative member and supplied his wines before entering into a lease agreement with his brother Luc de Conti at Château La Tour des Gendres. In 2021, his son Guillaume and his brother Paul, along with Yann Lecoindre, the cellar master at La Tour des Gendres, took over this 30-hectare leasehold to produce their own wines under the Albert de Conti label. The cuvées Conti-ne Périgourdine, Cuvée des Conti, La Vigne d’Albert, Chez Paul, and the naturally sparkling wine produced from the estate’s vineyards have been taken over by the new entity, which is therefore included in our guide on the same level as the former estate.

Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on February 17, 2026

Balancing smooth roundness with mineral tension, this white wine also offers lovely body and a slightly honeyed fruitiness, gliding into a light and bright finish. Tasted today with Luzienne-style stuffed baby squid. Next time, I’ll pair it with a stir-fry of Asian-style marinated shrimp. Rating = 3.7.
