Rating from the Hachette Wine Guide: 2** (Remarkable Wine) + Editor’s Choice
“What stands out about this remarkable cuvée is the perfect harmony between the wine and the barrel. The clean nose reveals very pleasant aromas of morello cherry and vanilla. On the palate, it offers a lovely sweetness, roundness, and fruitiness. Balanced by a light, very pleasant freshness, it is also nuanced with subtle, elegant oak. We commend the winemaking and aging techniques that have produced this wine, which is already seductive but capable of aging for several years.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2013)
