Notes: RVF 16.5/20, Gault Millau 16/20
"The impeccable Moulin des Dames develops a vigorous and crisp character in 2011, magnified by a delicious bitterness. " (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2014 - RVF). This white wine offers a very full-bodied attack with sweetness, accompanied by a dense, highly aromatic texture with a magnificent persistence on the finish.

Bettane & Desseauve

3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

This property is the stronghold of the Conti family. Luc de Conti bought the estate in 1981. His cousin Francis and his son Guillaume joined him, while his daughter Margaux chose another estate (Barouillet) and his son Gilles chose the path of beer. Fifty hectares are farmed organically and a small portion (12 hectares) biodynamically.

About the estate:

An Italian story. In 1986, the Conti brothers joined forces, brought their families together, and founded the Conti company. Jean, Luc, their wives, and a cousin, Francis, who contributed his 20 hectares, followed in the footsteps of Vincenzo, who arrived there in 1925. Joined by the latest generation, they cultivate 60 hectares of vines (organic since 2005), supplemented since 2000 by a trading structure that sells wines from neighboring winegrowers who have also converted to organic farming. In 2022, Gilles and Margaux took over.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the estate:

The 52-hectare estate has recently been divided between the two branches of the family. Luc de Conti, who has been delighting us with his Bergerac wines for twenty-five years, has separated from his cousin and, together with his children Margaux and Gilles, is building a new future for the estate. The vineyard, which is entirely organic, produces powerful white wines and red wines that conform to the classic standards of the Bergerac region. Beer, whiskey, and truffles will also now be part of the Conti label's offerings.
