Tour des Gendres Castle
Château Tour des Gendres is a farm in southwestern France acquired in 1925 by the De Conti family; it was not until the third generation that the property was transformed into a winery, producing its first vintage in 1985. Today, Château Tour des Gendres comprises 52 hectares within the Bergerac AOC.

A family-run business led by Luc De Conti, it comprises three distinct vineyards: Les Gendres, on clay-limestone and Monbazillac marl soils; Le Grand Caillou, on clay-limestone over Castillon marl; and Saint Julien d’Eymet, on clay-limestone and clay-silt soils over Agenais marl. The entire estate has been farmed organically since 1994 and has been in the process of converting to organic farming, certified by Agrocert, since 2005. Finally, in 2000, Château Tour des Gendres established a wine trading business in partnership with five neighboring estates that share the same viticultural practices, producing Bergerac wines under the Château Tour des Gendreslabel .The vineyard is now managed by Luc de Conti’s children.
