Vignerons de Buzet
The Vignerons de Buzet winery was created in 1953, as a result of the winegrowers' determination to restore the lustre of past centuries to their wine. Initially a VDQS, the Buzet vineyard was awarded the title of AOC Buzet in 1973.

Located in the heart of the South-West and the Garonne valley, Buzet, a charming village on the left bank of the river Baïse, has seen history in the making since the Roman legions. Vignerons de Buzet wine reflects a history as varied as the soil of the hillsides of the twenty-seven communes in the appellation area.

Nearby, the vast Landes forest, the largest in Europe, gently tempers the oceanic climate. A climate and soils conducive to vine-growing, assets appreciated by Bacchus, have encouraged the planting and development of one of France's oldest vineyards. Today, the Vignerons de Buzet vineyard is bounded on one side by the Garonne river and on the other by the Landes forest, and extends over 2000 hectares in production, situated on 40 km of hillsides in the heart of the Albret region.
