Winemakers of Buzet
The Buzet Winegrowers' Cellar was created in 1953, driven by the winegrowers' desire to restore their wine to its former glory. First classified as VDQS, the Buzet vineyard was awarded AOC Buzet status in 1973.

Located in the heart of southwestern France and the Garonne Valley, a region known for its good living, Buzet is a charming village on the left bank of the lovely Baïse River that has witnessed history unfold since the days of the Roman legions. The wine produced by the Vignerons de Buzet reflects a history as varied as the soil of the hillsides of the twenty-seven communes in the appellation area.

Nearby, the immense Landes forest, the largest in Europe, pleasantly tempers the oceanic climate. The climate and soil are ideal for vines, qualities appreciated by Bacchus, and have encouraged the planting and development of one of the oldest vineyards in France. Today, the Vignerons de Buzet vineyard is bordered on one side by the Garonne River and on the other by the Landes forest, and covers 2,000 hectares of production, located on 40 km of hillsides in the heart of the Albret region.
