"Made from a blend of Merlot (70%) and Cabernet Franc, this deep garnet wine with violet hues delighted the tasters. Both intense and elegant, the nose reveals a complex array of aromas: red berries, blackcurrant, prune, fig, spices, and dried fruit. On the palate, it is supported by a tannic structure that is both dense and rounded—an iron fist in a velvet glove—and offers a pleasant return of fruit on the finish. Well-structured and persistent, this is a rich, indulgent wine that will age gracefully.” (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2018)

A bit disappointing for a Buzet—not bad, of course, but I found it rather ordinary. Maybe my palate isn't refined enough...
