Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the estate:

Established in the late 19th century, this estate, situated at the top of the Monbazillac hillsides, was acquired in 1977 by Jacques Blais, who expanded and developed it. Today, it comprises 14 hectares grouped around the cellars. In 2014, Romain Claveille, a 28-year-old winemaker, acquired it. His goal is to revitalize the estate’s image by producing delicious, “terroir-driven” wines.
