Taken over by Romain Claveille in 2014, Château Haut-Bernasse has retained its grandeur while modernizing its image. He succeeded Jacques Blais, who had restored Monbazillac to its former glory.
Located at the top of the Monbazillac hillsides, Château Haut-Bernasse spans 14 hectares of vineyards, including 11 hectares of white grape varieties (Sémillon, Muscadelle, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris) and 3 hectares of red grape varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc).
