"We love this 100% Cabernet Franc cuvée made only when the vintage lends itself to it. The nose is dazzling and refined, with fresh raspberries, sweet mint and spices. The palate is lacy without being hollow, very spicy and fruity, with beautiful flesh, freshness and incredible length. Magnificent " (Le Guide Bettane + Desseauve). About the wine:
We love this 100% Cabernet Franc cuvée made only when the vintage lends itself to it. The nose is dazzling and refined, with fresh raspberries, sweet mint and spices. The palate is lacy without being hollow, very spicy and fruity, with beautiful flesh, freshness and incredible length. Magnificent!
About the domain :
This property is the fiefdom of the de Conti family. Luc de Conti bought the estate in 1981. His cousin Francis and son Guillaume joined him, while daughter Margaux chose another estate (Barouillet) and son Gilles the beer route. 50 hectares are farmed organically, and a small part (12 hectares) biodynamically.

About the domain :
Una storia italiana. In 1986, the de Conti brothers joined their lands, associated their families and founded the de Conti company. Jean, Luc, their wives and a cousin, Francis, who contributes his 20 ha, follow in the footsteps of Vincenzo, who arrived here in 1925. Joined by the last generation, they manage 60 ha of vines (organic since 2005), supplemented since 2000 by a trading structure that sells wines from neighboring winegrowers who have also converted to organic methods. In 2022, Gilles and Margaux took over.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 92/100
Domaine rated (guide 2023) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
Cabernet franc on limestone for Les Anciens Francs, a devilishly fragrant cuvée of red fruits, grenadine and spices with racy tannins.
About the domain :
The 52-hectare estate has been freshly split between the two branches of the family. Luc de Conti, who has been delighting us with his Bergerac wines for twenty-five years, has separated from his cousin and, with his children, Margaux and Gilles, is building a new future for the estate. The vineyard, entirely organic, produces powerful whites and classic Bergerac reds. From now on, beer, whisky and truffles will also be on the agenda of the label de Conti.

Domaine noté (guide 2022) Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Wine Enthusiast)
About the wine:
This rich, fragrant, smoky wine comes from a plot of old Cabernet Franc. It is very young, expressing blackcurrant fruit and considerable acidity, which will soften as the wine ages. The structure is right and the wine will be impressive. Drink from 2023. Organic.
