"We love this 100% Cabernet Franc cuvée, produced only when the vintage is right. The nose is bright and refined, with fresh raspberry, sweet mint, and spices. The palate is delicate without being hollow, very spicy and fruity, with beautiful body, freshness, and incredible length. Magnificent! " (Le Guide Bettane + Desseauve). About wine:

The palate is delicate without being hollow, very spicy and fruity, with beautiful body, freshness, and incredible length. Magnificent!
About the estate:
This property is the stronghold of the Conti family. Luc de Conti bought the estate in 1981. His cousin Francis and his son Guillaume joined him, while his daughter Margaux chose another estate (Barouillet) and his son Gilles chose the path of beer. Fifty hectares are farmed organically and a small portion (12 hectares) biodynamically.

About the estate:
Savagnin, a grape variety from the Jura region, is making its debut in Bergerac! A craft brewery and distillery further diversify the estate's offerings. With Gilles and Margaux de Conti, the new generation, full of plans, took over this family estate in 2022. While creating original vintages, they continue to produce the appellation wines that made Ch. Tour des Gendres famous, founded in 1981 by their father Luc, the son of farmers and winegrowers and grandson of Italian immigrants who settled in the region in 1925. The estate, which now covers 30 hectares, committed to organic farming in 1996, before being certified in 2009.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 92/100
Rated estate (2026 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About wine:
Cabernet Franc grown on limestone for Les Anciens Francs, a cuvée bursting with red fruit, grenadine, and spice aromas, with racy tannins.
About the estate:
The 52-hectare estate has recently been divided between the two branches of the family. Luc de Conti, who has been delighting us with his Bergerac wines for twenty-five years, has separated from his cousin and, together with his children Margaux and Gilles, is building a new future for the estate. The vineyard, which is entirely organic, produces powerful white wines and red wines that conform to the classic standards of the Bergerac region. Beer, whiskey, and truffles will also now be part of the Conti label's offerings.

About wine:
This rich, fragrant, and smoky wine comes from a plot of old Cabernet Franc vines. It is very young, expressing blackcurrant fruit and considerable acidity, which will soften as the wine ages. The structure is just right, and the wine will be impressive. Drink from 2023. Organic.
