This cuvée, named after the painter Jeanne Lacombe who designed the labels, is a wine that exudes the essence of spring, with a very appealing bouquet evoking refreshing aromas of red berries. It offers a rich palate with notes of violet, well-balanced and full of flavor. Very "Toulousain" in character... There are 6 different labels for this wine. They will be shipped at random by the producer.

About the estate:

Estates rated 1*Star (Rising stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
With the arrival of their children, Grégoire and Anne, the Ribes family incorporated the vineyards of Château Flotis—a neighboring property they had already been managing—into Le Roc. Syrah and Négrette grapes grown on a stony hillside have thus joined the estate’s portfolio. The grafted Bouysselet, vinified in barrels, produces an ambitious white; alongside it, the Négrettes remain at their best thanks to meticulous and increasingly modern winemaking techniques.

A rich, full-bodied wine with plenty of character. A 100% Négrette that pairs perfectly with a nice duck breast...

I was really surprised by this wine—it’s definitely worth trying. Great value for the price. I wish I’d bought more; I’ll make sure to do so for the next vintage.
