Château Flotis
Château Flotis is located in the town of Castelnau d’Estretefonds, in the heart of the Fronton appellation vineyards.
A historic winery in the Fronton region, the building—a splendid U-shaped farmhouse of approximately 1,000 square meters—was built in the late 18th century.
Left to fall into disrepair in the 1990s, Château Flotis was taken over in 2004 by the Ribes family (also owners of the Le Roc estate) with the ambition of breathing new life into the château and restoring the former glory of one of the jewels of the Fronton appellation.
The diligent and dedicated work carried out on the vineyard by the Ribes family over several years has now endowed the Château Flotis terroir with magnificent grape varieties (Négrette, Syrah, Chenin, Muscadelle, Chardonnay).
In 2018, Fabienne and Raphaël Agosti acquired the estate and several vineyard plots. Impressed by the Ribes family’s expertise and vision for working the land, they decided to grant them exclusive responsibility for winemaking.
