Laurou Castle
Taken over in 1997 by Guy Salmona, Château Laurou is located near the Tarn River and covers 45 hectares of vineyards in the Fronton AOC.

The soils consist of white boulbènes (sandy), fairly poor soils where the vines thrive. The vineyard is rich in a grape variety unique to the appellation: Négrette (51%), with aromatic finesse and surprising complexity, giving the wines their distinctive character. In addition, the blend includes Syrah (27%), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Gamay (8%), and Fer Servadou (1%).

Château Laurou has been in the process of converting to organic farming since 2009 and has been certified organic since 2013.
