Laurou Castle
Taken over in 1997 by Guy Salmona, Château Laurou is located near the Tarn river and covers 45 hectares of vineyards in the Fronton AOC.

The soils are composed of white boulbènes (sandy), fairly poor earth where the vines thrive. The vineyard is rich in a grape variety specific to the appellation: Négrette (51%), with its aromatic finesse and surprising complexity, giving the wines their distinctive character. In addition, there are Syrah (27%), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (15%), Gamay (8%) and Fer Servadou (1%).

In conversion to organic farming since 2009, Château Laurou has been certified organic since 2013.
