The 2015 Original offers a round palate with notes of orange and ripe cherry, supported by a lovely tannic structure. A hint of licorice on the finish provides a very pleasant sensation of freshness. Excellent value for the price!

About the estate:

A former brickworks manager, Nicolas Gélis successfully transitioned into winemaking in the Frontonnais region; he successively acquired three châteaux—Ferran (1994), Montauriol (1998), and Cahuzac (2008)—and established a wine trading business. With over 100 hectares of vineyards across diverse terroirs, he has become a mainstay of the appellation, with Laurent Fadat overseeing winemaking.
