About the wine:
Winemade as a dry wine, this grape variety has produced a white wine with aromas of pear, apple, and dried fruit; on the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with a hint of bitterness on the finish.
About the estate:
In 1820, Jean-Noël Laudet, upon returning from the West Indies where he had spent more than twenty years in the spice trade, founded this estate in Bas-Armagnac to produce Gascon brandy. The vineyard (40 hectares on a terroir of reddish-brown sand rich in iron oxide) has been managed since 2007 by Cyril Laudet (eighth generation) and his wife Julie, who also produce IGP wines.
