New vintage: The 2011 was awarded a Gold Medal by the CGA Paris
The Colombard and Ugni Blanc grape varieties complement each other perfectly here to create a wine that is both complex and intense, revealing delicate exotic notes with hints of mint. A white wine with a lively and straightforward attack on the palate, opening up to a round mouthfeel enveloped in ripe fruit. A very invigorating cuvée!

About the estate:
The European pond turtle, a nod to those fighting to protect endangered species, is often featured on the labels of the Uby estate (both vineyard and wine merchant), founded in 1956. At the helm of this vast vineyard (300 ha) since 1995, François Morel has implemented numerous initiatives focused on environmental stewardship and, for the wine merchant division, selects partners who supply organic grapes.

This unique white wine offers excellent value for money; it’s a bit too acidic but very aromatic and truly perfect as an aperitif.

This white Colombard-Ugni blend offers the same enjoyment as the red Tannat-Merlot blend—that is to say, finesse, lightness, and balance. But here, it is the surprising aromas of citrus, grapefruit, and blackcurrant buds that fill your palate. This wine is very pleasant.

A well-balanced wine, fruity without being overpowering, with a long finish, just as good as an aperitif as it is with a meal, and affordable

As delightful as ever. Very aromatic, this is a pleasant, unpretentious wine to enjoy on the patio with friends at lunchtime before firing up the grill. It’s always a pleasant surprise for those who haven’t tried it yet. The aromatic character of Colombard combines with the structure of Ugni. An affordable and enjoyable treat.
