Château Peyros

Château Peyros ("stony place" in Gascon) is located in Haut-Béarn, in the beautiful southwestern region of France, and dates back to the 17th century.

The estate was considered a true benchmark in the 1960s, highly recommended by sommeliers and top Parisian restaurants. In the early 1990s, Château Peyros experienced a decline due to the aging of the estate and the lack of an heir; it was thanks to the Lesgourgues family (who also own properties in Bas Armagnac and Graves) taking over the estate that it regained its reputation.

Château Peyros ’s 21 hectares enjoy optimal sunlight and are planted on loamy-sandy-clay soils.
