"Named after the meridian that crosses the plot where it was born, this pure Tannat, black and deep, opens with notes of licorice and spicy black fruits. The palate is full-bodied, dense, powerful, and sappy, balanced by a freshness that carries the finish far. Imposing but also full of charm, it can be cellared with complete confidence. A 2022 that is reminiscent of the 2020 version, voted Favorite the previous Guide." (Le Guide Hachette 2026). Delivery in wooden crates for all orders of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Point Relais delivery method).

About wine:
Named after the meridian that crosses the plot where it was born, this pure Tannat, black and deep, opens with notes of licorice and spicy black fruits. The palate is full-bodied, dense, powerful, and sappy, balanced by a freshness that extends the finish. Imposing but also full of charm, it can be cellared with complete confidence. This 2022 vintage is reminiscent of the 2020 version, which was voted Favorite the previous Guide.
About the estate:
This ancient estate, whose origins date back to the 17th century and whose name means "stony ground" in Gascon, has belonged to the Lesgourgues family since 1999. The family already owns estates in Bas Armagnac and Graves: 26 hectares of vines now managed by the third generation, represented by Arnaud Lesgourgues.

About wine:
This is a dense and powerful wine, with rich aromas of black fruit, a scent of black coffee, and dark tannins. It has beautiful concentration and pronounced berry flavors. It takes its name from the location of the vineyard, situated at the intersection of the 0-degree Greenwich meridian and the 43-degree parallel. This wine is intended for aging, so wait until 2027. Be careful with the alcohol.
