"The new vintage of Donnhoff's flagship wine: this Riesling never disappoints!"
" Bursting with aromas of mandarin and yellow peach, this dry entry-level Riesling is very appealing. Barely medium-bodied, but so exuberant and elegant. Very tart finish. Drink now or hold. " (James Suckling 2025) • Screw cap

About wine:
Freshly bottled with an alcohol content of 11%, Riesling trocken 2024 from opens opens with a remarkably intense and aromatic bouquet of yellow stone fruits, mingled with complex, salty notes from the Nahe mid-valley terroir. Fresh and flavorful on the palate, this is a light to medium-bodied dry Riesling that is frank, pure, and fresh, with remarkable intensity and length, as well as a salty, savory finish. It is not as light and charming as its semi-dry twin, but more serious in its expression of terroir. It needs a few weeks or months to settle down a little. 2026-2032

Rated estate (2020 guide) Recommended
About wine:
Riesling trocken 2024 is a blend from many terroirs other than the usual Oberhäuser Felsenberg and Kieselberg, but it is entirely sourced from volcanic and schist soils. An immediate hint of peach on the nose heralds fruit, maturity, clarity, and freshness. The palate is quite firm, tart and ripe, with a sunny aspect. This wine is slender and immensely fresh. The 2024 is an absolutely limpid and flavorful Riesling. (Very dry) 2025-2040

Falstaff
Wine rated (2025 guide) 91+/100
About wine:
Floral aroma, lavender, citrus, fresh orange peel. On the palate, the wine is beautifully balanced, supple on the attack, then juicy, ripe and rich, with a complexity and minerality worthy of an excellent village wine. Superb!
