Domaine Bousquet
Originally from Carcassonne, the family Bousquet has been interested in the Mendoza wine region since the early 1990s. After his first trip to Argentina, Jean Bousquet discovered the region and its unique potential: a high-altitude terroir at the foot of the Andes.
In 1997, the Bousquet family acquired a 110-hectare plot of land that had never been cultivated by humans. It was the ideal playground for these winemakers, who adopted organic farming practices from the very start of their Argentine adventure.
The Bousquet estate is located in Tupungato, in the Gualtallary Valley. It is the highest vineyard in Mendoza and in the world, at an altitude of 1,200 meters. With cool nights, a constant breeze, and low rainfall, the conditions are ideal for producing high-quality wines.
