Considered one of the best vineyards in the Barossa Valley, the Filsell vineyard is planted with very old Syrah vines that are nearly 100 years old. This unique characteristic is evident in the wine, which offers intense, concentrated aromas of dark chocolate, licorice, and raspberry, along with a hint of lavender. The palate is ripe and well-balanced between fruit, tannins, and acidity. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for about ten years.

Eye
A deep red color with a purplish rim.
Nose
aromas of dark chocolate, licorice, raspberry, and a hint of lavender.

Intense aromas of small berries, with blackberry and spiced rhubarb, enhanced by spices, vanilla notes, and milk chocolate. A harmonious palate, with an optimal balance between richness, concentrated fruit, gentle spices, tannins, and acidity.
