"This typical Australian blend will introduce you to the unique character of this white wine!"

Like the Cuvée Juvenile Blanc, this 2022 The Steading Blanc is dominated by Roussanne (50%), followed by Marsanne (43%) and Viognier (7%). While the Roussanne was put directly into vats (i.e., without oak), the Marsanne and Viognier were fermented and aged in French oak. This is undoubtedly what brings the softness in the mid-palate, while the Roussanne brings white flowers and chalk on the periphery. There are also notes of green apple (skin), loquat, lychee, white plum, and nashi pear. It is a charming, complex, opulent wine with white pepper on the finish. The phenolic characteristics have a certain firmness, which is very appealing for a white wine. 2023-2033." (Wine Advocate 2023)

About wine:

This blend fits perfectly with Torbreck's style in terms of polish, maturity, and class. Abundant plum and raspberry are accompanied by notes of baking spices, flowers, warm stones, and iodine. The fruit glides across the tongue while savory and herbaceous elements linger on the finish. This is a harmonious wine that will last until at least 2028.

About wine:

Very beautiful aromas of white flowers and ripe pears. The intense and fragrant finish with a spicy/peppery note from the oak makes it even more appealing. A soft and grippy texture reminds me of food. 2024-2030
