"Reliable, delicious, complex, rich, and generous—taste Torbreck's superstar, according to Wine Advocate!"

The 2021 The Steading is incredibly smooth on the nose: summer raspberries, blood plums, black cherries, licorice, star anise, a hint of cardamom, and chewing tobacco. It offers incredible value for money at around $40, but I feel like it has been at that price for at least a decade, so it has been incredible value for money for a long time. It is a reliable, delicious, complex, rich, and generous wine and, through the lens of this fresh vintage, a superstar. The best to date. (Wine Advocate 2023)

About wine:

I like the tannic tension of this wine with its aromas and flavors of berries, dried meat, and spices. It is medium-bodied, firm, and bright. Juicy finish. Beautiful texture on the palate. Lively. Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro. Drink now or hold.
