“Reliable, delicious, complex, rich, and generous—try Torbreck’s superstar, according to The Wine Advocate!”

“The 2021 The Steading has an incredibly smooth nose: summer raspberries, blood plums, black cherries, licorice, star anise, a hint of cardamom, and chewing tobacco. It offers incredible value for money at around $40, but I get the impression it’s been priced that way for at least a decade, and has therefore been incredible value for money for a long time. It’s a reliable, delicious, complex, rich, and generous wine and, through the lens of this fresh vintage, a superstar. The best to date. ” (Wine Advocate 2023)

About the wine:

I love the tannic structure of this wine, with its aromas and flavors of berries, dried meat, and spices. It is medium-bodied, firm, and vibrant. Juicy finish. Beautiful texture on the palate. Lively. Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro. Drink now or cellar.
