"This could very well be one of the best Heytesburys, according to Robert Parker of *The Wine Advocate*!"
“The 2022 Heytesbury Chardonnay is lighter, fresher, and more refined than any Heytesbury I can recall from its initial release. This wine made a name for itself in the mid-2000s thanks to its robust fermentation, flinty reduction, and rich spice notes. Today, I feel the style has gently shifted back toward the middle ground, presenting us with a wine that is infinitely composed, powerful, understated, and yet kaleidoscopic in its fruit profile. I’m not one for grandiose claims like “the best of all time,” but this wine could well be one of the best Heytesburys I’ve had the pleasure of tasting upon its release, and that’s a statement that pays tribute to the 2010 and 2013 vintages. 2024–2038” (Robert Parker 2024) • Screw cap

Winery of the Year (2018 Guide)
About the estate:
Vasse Felix is the first winery in Margaret River and Western Australia to receive the award from the American publication, surpassing wineries from major international regions—including Stellenbosch (De Toren), Auckland (Kumeu River), Argentina (Trapiche), and Chile (Vina Ventisquero)—to claim the coveted honor.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 97/100
About the wine:
An intensely complex and inviting nose with aromas of toasted lemon zest, grapefruit peel, orange blossom, and gunflint. The medium-bodied palate offers texture and lively acidity, with notes of lime zest, mandarin pulp, fresh pineapple, and biscuit. Multidimensional and generous with underlying tension. Exceptional. Drink now or cellar. Screw cap.
