"According to Wine Enthusiast, this Australian Chardonnay stands out for its value for money, and we couldn't agree more: it's delicious!"

"Vasse's mid-range wines once again stand out for their value for money. A Margaret River classic, this Chardonnay is a fruity wine that opens with notes of peach cobbler and melon rind. It is underpinned by subtle yet distinct notes of toast and lees, such as cream, brioche, flint, and oyster shell. The palate is initially marked by lively acidity, which is rounded out by a creamy texture. The structure, length, and backbone of this wine are sufficient to allow it to age until around 2030, but it is also absolutely delicious right now.” (Wine Enthusiast 2023) • Screw cap

Winery of the Year (2018 Guide)

About the wine:

Vasse’s mid-range wines once again shine for their value. The structure, length, and backbone of this wine are sufficient to allow it to age until around 2030, but it is also absolutely delicious right now.

About the estate:

Vasse Felix is the first winery in Margaret River and Western Australia to receive the award from the American publication, surpassing wineries from major international regions—including Stellenbosch (De Toren), Auckland (Kumeu River), Argentina (Trapiche), and Chile (Vina Ventisquero)—to claim the coveted honor.

Wine rated (2023 guide) 16,5/20

About the wine:

Candied fruit with a distinctly citrusy character, lively acidity, and a light-bodied structure. This is a Chardonnay with the finesse of a Sauvignon Blanc, which makes it much more refreshing. There are also oak notes, which are well-controlled and integrated. 2023–2026

Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100

About the wine:

Fresh and creamy, with aromas of white grapefruit, thyme, lemon, sourdough, and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, it offers a lovely depth of ripe citrus and stone fruit, along with a long, creamy finish. Enjoy now or celller. Screw cap.
