“The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Spiegel was harvested from well-aerated loess terraces resting on Danubian gravel that is calcareous and rich in iron. On the nose, notes of yeast blend with a soft, woody scent of moss, enhanced by a hint of pepper. On the palate, it is round, with a pronounced peppery note on a very airy, creamy, almost ethereal body. Soaring skyward, this wine is fresh and lively, with great height. The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Ried Spiegel 1ÖTW from Feuersbrunn opens with a very clean, precise, and intense nose, featuring rich and dense aromas of ripe white fruit. On the palate, it is a very rich and textured Veltliner, with remarkable, invigorating acidity. The wine is highly complex and has a long finish, revealing a lingering, aromatic aftertaste that is also intense, powerful, and stimulating, with saline notes. Declared alcohol content: 13%.
