Joined by Franck, Georges Duboeuf continues to lead the wine merchant and producer business he founded in 1964, which has played a major role in raising the profile of Beaujolais. The company works with numerous winemakers and cooperatives and generates 75% of its revenue internationally. Georges Duboeuf is also a pioneer in wine tourism with his “oeonoparc” (Hameau Georges Duboeuf), established in 1993 in the former Romanèche-Thorins train station.

This gem from the Dubœuf galaxy is a fine showcase for the vintage. True to the full-bodied character of the Capitans, it reveals beautiful fruit, thanks in particular to complete destemming. This Juliénas offers a very appealing interplay of moderate tannins and red fruit, with many subtle hints of spice and earth. Juicy on the attack and medium-bodied on the palate, the tannins develop pleasantly in the long, moderately dry, and lively finish. Ready to drink or worth cellaring.
