"A sure bet at a low price"

“A soft, delicate red with notes of berries and light chocolate, along with earthy aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied. A juicy, flavorful finish. Drink now. ” (James Suckling - 2021) This cuvée pays homage to the generations of winemakers who preceded the Chardat family on these lands. The wine beautifully expresses the fine terroir of Lacaussade. A little gem!

A typical, well-made Blaye, with all the roundness of Merlot and chocolate aromas; it could have a bit more length on the palate, but at 9 euros, it’s a great bottle
