Smoothness, finesse, and flexibility—it’s all here!

Silver Medal, 2007 Brussels World Competition, Selected Hachette Guide 2008
A strong determination and the realization that they were in the presence of an extraordinary terroir drove Jacques Chardat to tackle this vineyard head-on to produce wines full of charm and grandeur. The old vines that give rise to this Trois Moulins Rouge 2005 reflect the appellation’s unique character and the richness of the terroir: south-facing hillsides with beautiful, well-drained slopes. This vintage is powerful, dominated by small red stone fruits and subtle woody notes. A medal-winning wine not to be missed!
