Château Lacaussade Saint-Martin - Trois Moulins 2006
Following in the footsteps of its predecessor (rated “Exceptional” by the RVF), the 2006 vintage certainly owes much of its character, fruitiness, and exceptional freshness to the very specific timing chosen for harvesting the grapes at peak ripeness: in the afternoon, after the morning dew... A wine of great complexity, with well-integrated oak and aromas of exotic fruits and candied fruits, endowed with good aging potential thanks to extended barrel aging. Enjoy it now, while it’s still in the enchanting prime of its youth, or in a few years, when it will be a superb dining companion. Another exceptional success!
