About the estate:

Château les Tours de Peyrat is a 16-hectare family-owned estate (certified organic) planted on the clay-limestone soils of Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, managed by Christelle Sauboua since 2000. It is part of the Cars cooperative (founded in 1937), renamed “Châteaux solidaires” in 2011, which vinifies the harvests of about ten member châteaux—selected with great care—separately.

Stored in the cellar and drunk in 2016. It has aged well and is a real bargain.

When you're lucky enough to find it at a wine fair for less than €6, the value for money is exceptional!
