A decent Bordeaux Supérieur, but ultimately rather average. The reference to Haut-Brion on the label is a bit of a letdown.

Light-bodied, with tannins that have already completely mellowed. It goes down smoothly but lacks the acidity that would give it depth and character. Unfortunately, this is a wine best forgotten. The second bottle isn’t lacking in tannins or acidity, but the lack of distinct flavor is obvious. Definitely one to forget.

Stay away from merchant wines!!! How can 1J1V sell merchant wines???? If you’re short on contacts for quality winemakers who grow their own grapes, let us know!!!! I think many of your customers would be happy to provide you with some contacts....
